Partners in Dance is a catalytic organization devoted to maximizing the audience for each year's Capital Region season through initiatives in youth and adult education.

The Capital Region of New York is the home of multiple dance presenters, dozens of arts-in-education organizations and dance-centered non-profit organizations. In 1991, regional dance presenters, colleges, and arts organizations gathered informally to address their shared interest in dance activity in the Albany, Saratoga, Troy and Schenectady regions. This consortium has met regularly for over a decade to expand resources, enhance communication and support organizations and individuals who bring dance to the community. Partners in Dance has become a model for information and resource sharing.
